A Way to support our Troops

I do not normally post things like this and I have verified this on http://www.snopes.com/ that this is fact is true and real. What a great way to reach out to the men and women fighting for us.

Something cool that Xerox is doing If you go to this web site, http://www.letssaythanks.com/, you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services. How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second.

this is true: http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/nothing/letssaythanks.asp so send a card...

A magical Night in Venice

Finally! All the pictures Glenn Tekerman took at the Charity Ball are posted below. It sure looks like everyone who attended had a wonderful time. The decorations were fabulous, Earthshine rocked the house like they always do and it was a chance to spend time with friends and fellow Elks and raise money for charity in the process.

If anyone else has pictures to share, you can either email me and request an account to be a guest author or send me your photos and I'll be glad to post them. (Also, if you would like original digital file of any picture here so you order a print or print it yourself, just let me know and I'll email it to you. The pictures here are formatted specifically for web display only.)

On behalf of Nick Lamis and his committee, thank you to everyone who worked hard to make this an amazing evening and an unqualified success as a fundraiser.

- Janis
